Christopher
Lee returns to his bloodsucking duties in his third Hammer outing
as Dracula.
This is the one where our venomous
star seeks revenge on the Monsignor
who has barred him from his castle.
And that sweet revenge involves the
pursuit of his beautiful neice, Maria
- poor gal!
The opening is great, with the body
in the belfry. Likewise the ludicrous finale.
And
in between there's a splendid performance from Rupert Davies, giving
his religious all as the Monsignor,
Barbara Ewing shows some feisty spirit,
plus there's the rather radiant Ms Carlson
as Maria...

Well,
we can't find him.
He might be doubling
for Ewan Hooper as he plunges down the rockface,
17mins in to the film...
And he just might be seen doubling for Paul,
79mins in...
Then again, both falling fellows may be
Peter's colleague on the
movie , Eddie Powell
